Early years education

This is focused on children up to age five. When children are young and impressionable, almost every experience and encounter present a new learning opportunity. The benefits help shape a child’s understanding of the world, and to grow their confidence and curiosity. They are able to absorb everything around them (behavioural characteristics, copying and adopting words that they hear etc.) all before attending school.

In 2012 the framework was revised to make it clearer and easier to use, with more focus on the things that matter most and has a greater emphasis on the role of parents in helping your child develop. We have learned that the first five years of a child is imperative for their social and cognitive development.

Early Years educators and parents alike are key players and those are responsible for providing support for high-quality education. When children are given the right level of support and guidance, they can easily fulfil their potential, which is why the Early Years Curriculum is so broad and balanced. It looks at meeting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs during this particular stage of their development which is fundamental in helping to stimulate, challenge, and motivate them.

As a nursery/early years practitioner —

It is now more important than ever to be have as much contact time with the children as possible. This is why eyLog Ltd helps to aid and assist early years practitioners as best we can. We understand that without meaning to, a lot of time can be taken up with the day to day running’s of a nursery/pre-school/early years setting.

2020/2021 — Software is the way of the future.

It is everywhere and it is increasingly becoming a big part of the early years learning landscape. As more practitioners and early years providers are choosing to take their nursery management online/digital, those who continue to use basic systems/paper will be left behind.

A quick introduction to three of our products:

The benefits of using our software(s):

  • Go Paperless — Less paperwork! No one started this career daydreaming about the bouts of paperwork that goes hand in hand with this job. For some it might seem that providing quality childcare and growing your business are just the gap/break from completing piles of paperwork. A nursery management system removes all need for physical paper files — It does not add to your workload, only assists you to spend more time giving the support that you need with automatic reporting, an easy system for invoicing, and having easy access to availability — Admin work will seem like a breeze.
  • Boost your revenue — Manage your cashflow, occupancy reporting and forecasting more effectively.
  • Parents as Partners — At eyLog Ltd we believe it is important for practitioners to have quality relationships with parents, and to keep them involved in the education of their child so the parents can assist with their further education while at home. We have a ParentApp, which allows you to send updates direct to parent’s pockets makes sure they are actually getting seen. Share with them their child’s Learning Journey as an electronic journal, which has captured various activities achieved by their child while at the nursery. (Child observations, instant messaging, photo/video sharing, automatic learning journey, shared child profile.)
  • Everything in one place — Who would not want that? Our systems can include automatic reports, and document, all child information that is available and that you will need — All at your fingertips!
  • Access — You have round the clock access with our comprehensive tablet PC and web-based solution — We even have an offline function so you will always be able to collect those key observations, no matter where they strike!
  • Staff Headaches — Yes, we consider them solved! You will have the ability to update schedules (staff to child ratio schedules etc.) helping you to avoid costly overstaffing. It provides great routes of communication such as, shared calendars, file sharing and messaging — Allowing you to keep on top of your staff and maintain good relationships within your staff-force.
  • Security — Not all software is built with security at the forefront. eyLog Ltd understands that sensitive data, especially where children are concerned, needs to be looked after stored properly. Physical records and storage of sensitive, delicate information, whether on a desktop, or in Paper form — is not necessarily the safest, but maybe is the most vulnerable way to store your data.
  • Training and Support — We have a dedicated Sales and Support team ready to help you with your transition. There are training sessions available and you will have on-going support whenever you may need it.

A nursery management system

Is the way forward and we are at the forefront of assisting early years practitioners with our leading software applications, designed to assist, support, and educate parents on their child’s learning and development and welfare while in their nursery/pre-school/primary school setting.

We also offer free online demonstrations of our platforms/software with a member of our Sales Team in order to present our products and answer any questions or queries you may have. We have been constantly improving on our platforms since 2012 and on the back of that, we now offer a truly innovative and consistent approach to every aspect of nursery life.
